Our fully-managed Ultrasound services, which include general, gynaecology, small parts, vascular and musculoskeletal studies, provide the NHS and independent private healthcare providers with access to technically advanced, fully staffed Ultrasound facilities on a flexible and cost-effective basis.
We can provide a full end-to-end Ultrasound service, by managing the booking, triage, image transfer services and delivering a fast reporting turnaround.
We work in partnership with our customers to deliver a state-of-the-art, accessible, affordable and timely service using highly skilled sonographers, all of whom are members of HCPC, SoR or PVROS and meet CQC standards.
All our sonographers complete the InHealth competency programme and participate in a programme of quality assurance, which incorporates individual reflective practice, continuing professional development, 5% and 10% audit and observed teaching clinics.
An Ultrasound scan is an examination that involves taking pictures of the body using high frequency sound waves.
Pulses of sound waves are sent through the skin into the body, which then echo (bounce back) from the soft tissue structures and blood vessels of the body, creating an image.
As ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can also show the movement of the body’s internal organs as well as blood flowing through the blood vessels.
Unlike X-ray imaging, there is no ionizing radiation exposure associated with ultrasound imaging.
Patients attending a diagnostic appointment with InHealth, can find out more information about what to expect from the Informed Scan website, here.
We offer a fantastic benefits package, and have an innovative approach to personal and professional development, helping you to be the best version of yourself and giving you a real career pathway.
